Hi, I’m Fu’ad.
This corner of the internet is an experiment in keeping a public field note, collecting all my thinking, doings, and interests in one place.

I’m obsessed with stories, with making things and making things happen.

I lead Archivi.ng, an organisation obsessed with Nigeria’s history by digitising millions of pages from old newspapers and magazines, and making them accessible to everyone. I also run Vistanium, a studio for stories and ideas about people, places, fantastic rabbit holes, and where to find them.

I currently serve as Editorial Director at Big Cabal Media, where I help shape how Africans see themselves and their future through technology and culture, across publications like TechCabal and Zikoko. Since March 2025 though, I’ve focused squarely on TechCabal as interim Editor-in-Chief. Before this, I led growth at Eden Life, ran business at Nestcoin, and spent a decade in media building products and stories that connect deeply with people.

I build and support systems that preserve knowledge, deepen understanding, and help people see themselves more clearly in the story of the world.
